you don't get through your first exam you're going to come back for another exam and that's because we understand what it is to go through a polygraph and how nerve-racking that can be and how hard it is to kind of really absorb everything and so we want to give you every opportunity to be able to come in and successfully complete it indeed it's quite common for NSA telegraphers to initially accuse an examinee of showing signs of deception or having difficulties with questions to interrogate them about that but then to have them come back for one or more follow-up sessions where the whole procedure gets repeated think about it if the polygraph really worked if they really believed that people were lying based on the polygraph result when they tell people initially when they show deception don't let the door hit your ass on the way out instead the fact that they will subject people to multiple sessions is a good indication that deep down even though they won't admit it to you all overall I thought the experience was was not alarming it was a lot easier than I thought it would be they were actually very good at helping me relax telling me the questions and help them to get
